Short, practical IT education that leads to a job — full-time programs with 60 credits per year.
Our one-year programs emphasize the practical side of the curriculum more than the theoretical. Choose between classroom instruction 2–3 days per week in Oslo, Trondheim, or Hamar, or online study with sessions two evenings per week.
Most of our programs are free of charge, supported by county municipalities — you only pay for study materials and books. Eccera IT Academy is a publicly approved vocational school, qualifying students for financial support through Lånekassen.
Our teachers come from our own IT department and from partner IT companies — all experts in their respective fields. Current programs: Computer Technology, Server & Network Operations and System & Network Administrator.

We identify candidates with strong potential and match them with real assignments. Through a 12-month journey of coaching, certification and practical experience, we turn ambition into capability, and capability into impact.
Every participant follows a structured journey that combines learning, hands-on work and growing responsibility: Foundations (Months 1–3), Practice & Progress (Months 4–6), Deepening Skills (Months 7–9), Specialist Level (Months 10–12). Each step is supported by regular feedback and evaluation.
After 12 months, the customer can choose to bring the consultants in-house or continue the collaboration with Eccera. Either way, they gain colleagues who know the job, the tools and the culture — and are ready for the next step.
All Eccera consultants have access to professional IT certification programs — from entry-level courses to advanced specializations.
Whether someone is early in their career or already experienced, we encourage ongoing development. Every consultant can define an individual training plan tailored to their goals and interests, with full support from us.
Eccera covers both training materials and exam fees for all certification programs. This helps us ensure high motivation, stronger delivery, and better long-term outcomes for our customers.

Custom IT training solutions co-designed with partners and customers — always adapted to the role, project and consultant.
We create internal training programs developed by subject matter experts, always adapted to the role, project and consultant. Together with their manager, each employee defines a personal learning path supported by tools, time and structure.
Training is accessible anytime, anywhere via our learning portal — on the bus, on the couch or between meetings. Consultants study at their own pace but follow a clear plan with recurring workshops and check-ins.
We collaborate with clients and team leads to ensure that training isn’t just for personal growth — it also aligns with the technologies and methods used in real-life assignments. When consultants grow in the right direction, they stay longer and contribute more.
